01. Booking & Deposit
- A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date.
- Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit is received.
- Final balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding (or as per invoice).
- If you downsize after booking, the original quoted amount will still apply, as we reserve that time for your booking.
02. Cancellations & Postponements
All payments are final and non-refundable. This applies to all circumstances without exception, including medical emergencies, illness, change of mind, cancellation, postponement, or change of wedding/event date. If you choose to cancel your wedding date, or if your wedding date is changed for any reason, all payments made will be forfeited. This policy is in place to cover the time reserved for you and the loss of opportunity to take on other bookings.
Booking Amendments
- Any changes to your booking do not alter the original invoice, which remains payable in full.
- You are welcome to substitute the service with another guest if needed.
Deposit Policy
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, cancellation of the event, change of date, or unforeseen circumstances. By paying the deposit, you acknowledge and agree that this amount will not be returned. The deposit covers administration, scheduling, and the loss of potential bookings, as we reserve your date exclusively and may decline other clients once your booking is confirmed.
03. Travel & Parking
- We are a mobile hair and makeup team — we come to your home, hotel, or venue.
- Travel fees and tolls apply and will be confirmed during booking.
- If your location changes, an updated travel fee may apply.
- Please provide parking for our team.
- Any parking or valet charges will be billed to the client.
- Valet parking at all hotels is mandatory and will be charged to your hotel room.
Early Start & Additional Artists
- Early starts before 6:00 AM incur a fee from $150 per stylist/artist.
04. Bridal Trial Appointment Policy
For the health, safety, and comfort of all clients and staff, bridal trial appointments are reserved exclusively for the bride. Due to the use of professional hair styling products, aerosols, sprays, heated tools, cosmetics, and other salon-grade products and chemicals, children, babies, and infants are not permitted to attend trial appointments. To ensure a focused consultation and allow our artists to provide the highest level of service, we kindly request that no additional guests attend the trial appointment.
- No partners, family members, friends, bridesmaids, parents, or accompanying persons may attend.
- Only the bride scheduled for the appointment may be present unless prior written approval has been granted.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, professional, and productive environment.
- Trials are recommended but not mandatory.
- Trial fees are non-refundable and payable at booking.
- Trials include one hair look or one makeup look plus adjustments.
- Without a trial, we do not take responsibility for styling mismatches on the wedding day.
05. Late Fee
Please arrive on time for your appointment, as we often run back-to-back bookings.
- Late arrivals may affect our schedule and other clients.
- If you are running late, a $20 fee will apply for every 10-minute block past your scheduled start time.
06. Health, Hygiene & Allergies
- All brushes, tools, and products are sanitised between clients.
- Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities before your appointment.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if anyone has contagious conditions including cold sores, conjunctivitis, COVID, flu, or lice.
- Clients agree that Blossom Hair & Makeup is not liable for allergic reactions.
07. On the Day — Client Responsibilities
- Ensure everyone arrives on time.
- Hair must be clean and dry before services commence.
- Skin should be clean and makeup-free.
- Provide suitable workspace with natural lighting, power outlets, and a table for products.
- Children are not permitted on laps during services.
- A $20 fee applies if hair is wet on arrival and requires additional blow-drying.
- Please advise us of any unexpected changes as soon as possible.
08. Artist Substitution
The customer agrees that if one of our team members is unable to fulfil the appointment due to personal, health, or other unforeseen reasons, another qualified artist may be sent in their place.
09. Photos & Marketing
- We may photograph our bridal hair and makeup work for portfolio and social media purposes.
- If you do not wish your images to be used, please notify us in writing before your event.
- Any professional photos of our work shared online must credit Blossom Hair & Makeup.
10. Privacy
Your personal details will never be shared or used for any purpose beyond managing your booking.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for reactions to products used or for any unforeseen events beyond our control. By paying your deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
